I’m a multi-disciplinary strategic implementer that helps UK non-profits to grow and thrive. I spent twenty years working for many different charities and causes, across England and Wales, before going freelance in 2021.

Professional background

I’ve worked for a wide diversity of non-profits, focused on everything from disability to community development, as well as serving front line charities from roles in infrastructure organisations at local, regional and national levels.

In my staff roles I've run departments, delivered major programmes, built teams, developed new business, shaped national policy and created some amazing partnerships.

As a freelancer I tend to specialise in volunteering strategy and related areas, reimagining programmes to adapt to the latest trends and expectations, or implementing national campaigns growing volunteering awareness, capacity and infrastructure.

And as a serial trustee I’ve helped to build new charities from scratch, as well as take existing ones to the next level.

It’s this breadth of skills, experience and networks, forged in pressurised environments with minimal resources, that allows me to create tangible new value for those I support.
